Nick Meyer - Welcome Desk Supervisor

Nick has worked at the Sportsplex since 2013, having since worked in nearly every department. In 2019, he returned to the Sportsplex full-time after the renovations, becoming the Welcome Desk Supervisor in October of 2021. His aim is for every guest that walks through our doors to have the same fond connection to our centre that he feels he has been lucky enough to develop.

He grew up in Dartmouth and attended Dartmouth High School. After graduating, Nick went to Saint Mary’s University and attained a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Criminology and minoring in Sociology. He also holds a Personal Training certificate.

In his free time, Nick loves to exercise and work out, having competed in several bodybuilding competitions. He's also a huge Star Wars nerd and is always reading or watching the newest book or show.
