MEETING ROOM RENTALS
For conferences, events, and more.
Let the Zatzman Sportsplex host your next meeting, conference, or special event! With experienced staff, quality equipment, bright spaces, and a customer-focused attitude, we're enthusiastic about helping to make your next meeting a success.
Amenities include:
- Tables & Chairs (Wheeled tables with 2'x6' tabletops)
- 50' HDMI-compatible wall-mounted televisions.
- Kitchenettes with sinks and fridges. (in Thistle & Nantucket Rooms)
- Podium.
- Projection Screen (Projector available)
We offer various room setups to accommodate your group's size and needs. Just let us know what you're looking for!
Our facility has three rooms available for use, depending on the size of your group and your special requirements. Prices include tax.

ICE RENTALS
A pillar of Dartmouth's hockey community, and a lifetime supporter of ringette, speed skating, figure skating, and other ice sports, the Zatzman Sportsplex offers year-round rink rentals to groups of all ages.
HOW TO BOOK ICE TIME
If you're interested in booking ice time, please contact Tara Myra at myrat@halifax.ca. We always recommend booking at least two weeks in advance.
Information we require:
- Group name
- How many skaters
- Type of skate/sport
- Do you need hockey nets? How many?
- Do you need access to the timekeepers box
- Contact number
- Mailing address
- Email address
- Days and times you're interested in booking
- Please let us know if your desired time is unavailable, as we may be able to staff it.
PAYING FOR ICE TIME
When booking ice time, payment is always due at the time of your booking, unless our team arranges monthly invoices for your group. For annual bookings or monthly invoice clients, contracts must be signed and first payments made before you can play on the ice.
Two nets are available with regular ice time, and extra nets can be booked for a fee. Please request extra nets ahead of time so our team can ensure they're available and ready for your group.

Available ice times can be found on HRM MyRec. Please follow the link here and select Zatzman Sportsplex as your Rec Centre (the best web browser for access ice availability is Chrome).
GYMNASIUM RENTALS
Our gymnasium is Dartmouth's hub for sports and recreation. If you're interested in renting our gymnasium for one-time use or for consistent group activities, please fill out the form below and send it to Tara Myra, Facility Rentals, and Events Coordinator, at myrat@halifax.ca.
