As our new Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Stella is all about telling the Sportsplex story in a way that connects with our community - whether it’s through collaborations, eye-catching visuals, engaging social media posts, or capturing those in-the-moment photos and videos that make you smile.

Stella’s career path has been anything but ordinary. She started out in publishing, where she learned the power of a well-told story, before moving into the fast-paced world of finance and investments. Even surrounded by stock and brokerage reports, her love for marketing and the social world never dimmed, she found creative ways to blend strategy with storytelling, and she’s brought that same energy to the Sportsplex.

A passionate believer in health and wellness, Stella sees Zatzman Sportsplex not just as a recreation center, but as a place where people come to learn, feel good about themselves, grow, and connect. She’s a committed volunteer, always looking for ways to get involved and make a difference. Ambidextrous and endlessly curious, she loves learning her French, graphic design, content creation, kdrama, photography, directing skits, editing videos, and picking up new skills. And if she’s got her headphones on, she can happily walk for hours (in the snow, rain or sun)!

Her favorite part of the job so far? Meeting people from all walks of life and hearing their stories. “Everyone matters here - it’s like a community inside a community. There is something to learn from everyone here!” she says.
