SCOTT FORWARD- GENERAL MANAGER

With a lifelong passion for sports and an extensive background both playing and coaching both competitive and recreational levels, Scott Forward brings over 30 years of experience to his role as the General Manager! Originally from Westville, Nova Scotia, Scott continues to refine and develop his skills as a strategic and goal focused leader. His goal is to continue to support an atmosphere that is positive, wellness focused and supports the health goals for everyone.

Scott’s proactive attitude and collaborative management style has enabled him to develop highly engaged teams, leading to many organizational achievements. Scott has led many businesses to success, most recently the East Hants Sportsplex. He also introduced Eastlink retail stores to the cellular market as well as worked with Cleve’s Source for Sports operations including expansion and sales growth. His strengths include sales, marketing, not-for-profit governance, brand development program delivery, financial management, and budgeting.

Above all, Scott is a family man, He has been married for over 22 years, has 3 sons and a goldendoodle named Max. Scott has coached sports such as hockey, tennis and baseball. Scott’s passion for sport has recently manifested on the golf course! Playing golf helps Scott spend time with friends and create strong connections with his sons who are also avid golfers. This provides great family discussion at the supper table. In the winter when he is not watching his sons play hockey, Scott enjoys curling and tennis.

Scott is excited to be the newest member of the Sportsplex team and to be working with such a dedicated group of people. He looks forward to meeting many new people in his role.
