KAITLYN BURWELL - AQUATIC SUPERVISOR

No stranger to the pool and the world of aquatics, Kaitlyn makes the perfect aquatic supervisor. From managing and organizing birthday parties, figuring out aquatic programming and overseeing the general aquatic center with our coordinator Ryan, Kaitlyn truly shines on the pool deck.

Kaitlyn grew up swimming and swam competitively for sixteen years. Since she grew up on the beaches of Toronto, she guarded there every chance she could get! Kaitlyn is also a trained swim coach. Fun fact, she has only ever worked jobs in aquatics including many years with the City of Toronto. Kaitlyn even relocated from Ontario just for this job.

A life long and dedicated athlete, Kaitlyn holds in undergraduate degree in kinesiology and physical education from the University of Toronto. She also has both of her National Life Saving certifications for both pool and waterfront guarding, is trained to coach swimming and her Swim for Life allowing her to teach swimming lessons.

In her free time, Kaitlyn is a member of the national team for lifesaving sport. She also enjoys working out, crocheting, hiking and camping!
