ANGELA MACMASTER - HUMAN RESOURCES ADVISOR

Known for her curiosity, compassion and calm presence, Angela brings her 15 years of HR leadership experience to our team here at the Sportsplex! Angela is here to help bring innovative programs in talent acquisition, talent management, policy development and employee experience.

Angela approaches each situation in HR with openness and continuously strives to uncover innovative approaches and gain fresh perspectives from the situations. Angela also focuses on trust and safety and wants to make sure whoever enters her space feels comfortable to share their stories.

Angela holds her undergraduate degree from Cape Breton University and her master’s degree in business administration from Saint Mary’s. She has also successfully completed a graduate certificate in executive coaching from Royal Roads University in Victoria BC and holds a certificate Process Improvement which showcases her commitment to continuous professional development and excellence. Currently, Angela is pursuing credentials with the International Coaching Federation and her Certified Professional in Human Resources designation.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking yummy food and walking outdoors. We are so excited to see everything Angela does around here at the Sportsplex.
