To our valued community,

You may have seen a recent social media post by the Halifax Regional Police indicating an arrest and charges of an individual stemming from an incident at our facility on August 6, 2025.  Due to the diligence of the user and our staff, the suspect was arrested without incident.  

We have been able to support HRP with the arrest by providing statements and video footage of the suspect's arrival at the facility and entering the locker room, which aided in the laying of charges. 

We take the safety and privacy of our community seriously, and we encourage anyone with any possible information to contact HRP to report, as indicated on the HRP social media post.
