How did you start your health and wellness journey?

“My father raised me to love movement and the outdoors. I'm grateful for the tools I learned through this in my adult life, they’ve helped me to become the person I am today! My father and I ran a marathon together when he was 70 years old, and he continues to impress me. I began my career in fitness at the age of 15 and have been in-and-around gyms and fitness centers since. I love how exercise teaches routine, structure, and provides a great sense of accomplishment.”

Why do you love fitness and personal training?

“Physical activity is one of the most consistent indicators in decreasing health conditions such as cardiopulmonary conditions, stress, and obesity. Assisting people in getting and staying healthy is incredibly rewarding, as it not only increases strength and endurance, but helps people overcome other health concerns as well.”

What's your experience in health and wellness?

"I've been training as a competitive athlete for almost 40 years and have extensive experience in strength training and speed and power training. For over 30 years I've been coaching teams and athletes, as well as designing programs and performing fitness testing. This includes post-secondary teaching of health and wellness."

Why do you love what you do?

"I enjoy helping people achieve something they didn't believe was possible. It allows me to be creative because everyone is unique and so are their goals."

Timothy James Flemming

What's your experience in health and wellness?

"My fitness journey started at the age of 16 in a very small local gym. From baseball to lacrosse, football to bodybuilding, fitness has always been a part of my life in some way. As a Chef and Bodybuilder nutritious food and quality ingredients are integral in my day to day living. Now, as a Personal Trainer and Coach, I get the opportunity to pass on 30 years of combined knowledge to my clients and other fellow athletes."

Nick Meyer

How you got started on your fitness journey?

Growing up playing sports (hockey and football) and being active, I have always loved being physically fit. However, I was always under-weight. While in university, I dedicated myself to weightlifting and began to finally put on size, inspiring me to pursue fitness and recreation.”

Why do you love what you do? 

“My passion for helping people – If I can help someone make even the slightest positive change in their fitness journey, that jazzes me up and makes it all worthwhile.”
